RNA Collaborative Seminar Series Wednesday, April 8, 10 AM ET
Center for RNA Biomedicine’s Julian Zhu and Sarah Kargbo-Hill present talks at RNA Collaborative Seminar tomorrow, April 8
Guizhi (Julian) Zhu, Ph.D., and Sarah Kargbo-Hill, Ph.D., will each present a 15-minute talk at the next RNA Collaborative Seminar on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 10 AM EST on Zoom. Register Here.
Zhu, Ara Garo Paul Associate Professor and Associate Chair of Pharmaceutical Sciences at U-M, was recently named a 2026 Biomaterials Young Investigator Awardee. His lab is pioneering nucleic acid therapeutics and vaccines for cancer, infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders, and genetic diseases.

Sarah Kargbo-Hill is Assistant Professor of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology in the College of Literature, Science and the Arts at U-M, and RNA Center Executive Committee member. Kargbo-Hill’s lab studies fundamental mechanisms of neurobiology and neurodegenerative disease, building on prior work on synapse development/autophagy and the RNA-binding protein TDP-43 implicated in ALS, FTD, and Alzheimer’s.

The next RNA Collaborative Seminar to be held virtually TOMORROW, Wednesday, April 8 at 10:00 a.m. EDT (Eastern, US/Canada).
This seminar will be presented virtually and hosted by the University of Michigan Center for RNA Biomedicine and Regensburg Center for Biochemistry (RCB).
